Qualifications
Infinity Solar Group is proud to be one of Western Canada’s most credentialed and qualified clean energy firms — providing solar, storage and electric vehicle infrastructure.
For more than seven years, we have invested extensively in professional training, safety, technical certifications, program qualifications, and industry accreditation to ensure our clients can confidently access leading clean energy programs and incentives.
Technical certifications

NABCEP PV Installation Professional
The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners is the continent’s leading certification body for renewable energy professionals. The PV Installation Professional credential is its highest installer certification, requiring documented field experience, advanced training and a proctored exam.

NABCEP PV System Inspector
A certification for professionals who assess whether a photovoltaic system has been installed to code and to manufacturer specification — the same standard an authority having jurisdiction applies at final inspection.

NABCEP PV Associate
An entry-level credential covering photovoltaic fundamentals, site analysis and safety. It is the recognised first step in the NABCEP certification pathway.
Program qualifications

BC Hydro Alliance of Energy Professionals
BC Hydro’s network of vetted contractors approved to deliver its energy efficiency programs. Membership requires proof of training, insurance and demonstrated program experience.

Home Performance Contractor Network
A network of contractors trained to treat a home as a whole system — envelope, mechanical and generation together — rather than as isolated upgrades. Membership connects homeowners to coordinated retrofit rebates.

Clean Energy Improvement Program
Administered by Alberta municipalities. CEIP lets property owners in participating municipalities finance clean energy upgrades and repay them through their property taxes. Only contractors on the Qualified Contractor list may perform the work.

Federal Clean Technology Investment Tax Credit
A federal refundable tax credit for businesses investing in clean technology, including solar and storage. Claiming the full rate requires the installer to meet prevailing wage and apprenticeship labour requirements.

Vancity Community Investment Bank
A values-based Canadian bank that finances projects with measurable environmental and social impact, including commercial renewable energy.
Accreditation & standards

Better Business Bureau
BBB accreditation requires a business to meet standards for honest advertising, transparent pricing and responsive complaint handling. The letter rating reflects complaint history and time in business.

CSA Group
The Canadian Standards Association, operating as CSA Group, develops the standards that govern electrical equipment and installations in Canada, and certifies products against them.

Provincial WorkSafe boards
Each province’s workers’ compensation board sets occupational health and safety requirements and confirms that a contractor’s account and coverage are current. A clearance letter is a property owner’s protection against liability for an injury on their site.
Affiliations & industry bodies

Solar Alberta
Alberta’s long-standing non-profit solar association, providing public education, industry advocacy and installer resources across the province.

BC Sustainable Energy Association
A member-driven non-profit advancing renewable energy and energy efficiency policy in British Columbia.
