Infinity Solar Qualifications

Qualifications

Infinity Solar Group is proud to be one of Western Canada’s most credentialed and qualified clean energy firms — providing solar, storage and electric vehicle infrastructure.

For more than seven years, we have invested extensively in professional training, safety, technical certifications, program qualifications, and industry accreditation to ensure our clients can confidently access leading clean energy programs and incentives.

Technical certifications Program qualifications Accreditation & standards Affiliations & partners

Technical certifications

Held by named individuals on our team, renewed on a fixed cycle.

NABCEP PV Installation Professional

The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners is the continent’s leading certification body for renewable energy professionals. The PV Installation Professional credential is its highest installer certification, requiring documented field experience, advanced training and a proctored exam.

Our standing: Certified. Every system we install is designed and built under the supervision of a NABCEP certified professional.

NABCEP PV System Inspector

A certification for professionals who assess whether a photovoltaic system has been installed to code and to manufacturer specification — the same standard an authority having jurisdiction applies at final inspection.

Our standing: Certified. We inspect our own work to the standard a third-party inspector would apply, before you ever see a commissioning report.

NABCEP PV Associate

An entry-level credential covering photovoltaic fundamentals, site analysis and safety. It is the recognised first step in the NABCEP certification pathway.

Our standing: Held across our installation crews, so foundational knowledge is consistent from the lead hand down.

Program qualifications

Approvals that let us deliver rebates, financing and tax credits on your behalf.

BC Hydro Alliance of Energy Professionals

BC Hydro’s network of vetted contractors approved to deliver its energy efficiency programs. Membership requires proof of training, insurance and demonstrated program experience.

Our standing: Alliance Member — we can identify and process eligible BC Hydro incentives as part of your project rather than leaving you to chase them.

Home Performance Contractor Network

A network of contractors trained to treat a home as a whole system — envelope, mechanical and generation together — rather than as isolated upgrades. Membership connects homeowners to coordinated retrofit rebates.

Our standing: Member contractor, qualified to sequence solar alongside other home energy upgrades.

Clean Energy Improvement Program

Administered by Alberta municipalities. CEIP lets property owners in participating municipalities finance clean energy upgrades and repay them through their property taxes. Only contractors on the Qualified Contractor list may perform the work.

Our standing: Qualified Contractor — your project can be financed through CEIP where your municipality participates.

Federal Clean Technology Investment Tax Credit

A federal refundable tax credit for businesses investing in clean technology, including solar and storage. Claiming the full rate requires the installer to meet prevailing wage and apprenticeship labour requirements.

Our standing: We meet the prevailing-wage and apprenticeship conditions, so commercial clients can claim at the higher rate.

Vancity Community Investment Bank

A values-based Canadian bank that finances projects with measurable environmental and social impact, including commercial renewable energy.

Our standing: Commercial project financing partner — we can bring a lender to the table who already understands solar economics.

Accreditation & standards

Independent verification of how we run the business and the job site.

Better Business Bureau

BBB accreditation requires a business to meet standards for honest advertising, transparent pricing and responsive complaint handling. The letter rating reflects complaint history and time in business.

Our standing: Accredited Business with an A+ rating.

CSA Group

The Canadian Standards Association, operating as CSA Group, develops the standards that govern electrical equipment and installations in Canada, and certifies products against them.

Our standing: Member. We specify CSA-certified equipment and build to the standards CSA writes.

Provincial WorkSafe boards

Each province’s workers’ compensation board sets occupational health and safety requirements and confirms that a contractor’s account and coverage are current. A clearance letter is a property owner’s protection against liability for an injury on their site.

Our standing: Registered and in good standing in every province we operate in. Clearance letters available on request.

Affiliations & industry bodies

Where we contribute to the industry rather than just work in it.

Solar Alberta

Alberta’s long-standing non-profit solar association, providing public education, industry advocacy and installer resources across the province.

Our standing: Member.

BC Sustainable Energy Association

A member-driven non-profit advancing renewable energy and energy efficiency policy in British Columbia.

Our standing: Member.

GET AN ESTIMATE

The final product, including the phone app and website to monitor electricity generation by individual panels in real time is outstanding. We’d highly recommend Infinity Solar!

Chris and Wendy L.

I get to offset my energy bill and take advantage of all the sunshine Kimberley gets! Great system!

Shane T.

Best investment I ever made especially now with the government Green Energy Grant – the Federal government reimbursed me $5,600. This local company does excellent work and I highly recommend them!

Bob W.

We had our PV system installed by Infinity Solar in October 2024. The system is outperforming the estimates in their proposal and has resulted in dramatically reduced BCH utility costs. We’re more than satisfied with our system and the Infinity Team!

Arthur P Reilly

Infinity Solar gave me a thorough proposal—an aerial photo of our buildings showing the panels, plus clear predictions for power generation, lower electric bills, and payback. At 74, I wondered how long I’d benefit, but our passion for saving the environment—and doing our part—convinced me. We all need to do our part in order to prevent the devastating scientific predictions ahead. I love powering our electric car, power tools, and new heat pump with the sun, and the $5k rebate helped seal the deal! The staff were skilled, professional, and friendly; installation was quick, and they handled the permits and grant. If you’re thinking of getting power from the sun, I highly recommend Infinity Solar.

Mike Z.

This is a big investment and we felt that our questions were answered, even if we ended up asking them twice, and that our emails were responded to promptly. Overall 5 out of 5 stars!

Joyce D.

The clarity and ease of the project, installation and overall experience with Infinity Solar was excellent!

Pieter S.

We had our 17 panel system installed in July and by Dec. 31st we had generated 2,360 kWh – gotta love it!

Bob N.

Love what you folks have done for me. No power bills. No carbon tax. Free fuel for my EV. Not to mention the increased value in my home. Who wouldn’t want to buy a house with no power bills. A no brainer. Doug L.

Doug L.

My hydro bill was a mere $65 for the summer, even with the air conditioning on full tilt and five people in the house! Thank you solar panels!! Thank you Infinity Solar!

Heather M.

Everyone at Infinity Solar was easy to understand and more than willing to help, even when we called the wrong person. We are very satisfied with the installation and the company. Friends who were visiting us saw our solar system layout, and they then purchased a system from the same company on our recommendation.

Ken & Brenda P.

Everything was really great! From the initial quotes, to answering all of our questions, to the final install. We felt taken care of and secure in our decision to use your company.

Laurel G.

I appreciate being able to do things by email/online and that process was easy and efficient. All the staff were knowledgeable and friendly!

Kyla L.

We have been very happy with the installation and the service we received. We are happy to refer Infinity Solar to our friends and family.

Ron & Mary Ann J.

We were really happy with our experience with Infinity Solar. Hannah was especially good, working hard and keeping us informed of what she was doing. She was both professional and personable and we enjoyed working with her.

Lonnie M.

4-Year Solar Update

Since installing our solar system, we’ve generated over 60,000 kWh of clean energy — wow!

We continue to spread the word about going green, and we’ve since added a fully electric vehicle that just turned three years old. It truly feels like we’re driving it for free.

Cheers to the Infinity Solar team — we hope you’re keeping busy helping many more customers make the switch!
